Job Summary
We are looking for a technically knowledgeable person who can understand customer requirements and explain the design, construction, materials and technical specifications of sports facilities in a simple and convincing manner.
The person should be able to guide customers on space optimization, court dimensions, construction methods, material selection, durability, drainage and overall facility planning.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand the customer’s space, requirements and budget.
- Advise customers on optimum space utilization and court layout.
- Explain the construction process and technical requirements of different sports facilities.
- Explain court specifications such as dimensions, flooring, foundation, PCC, drainage, turf, fencing, lighting, etc.
- Recommend suitable materials and construction methods based on quality, durability and budget.
- Explain the advantages, limitations and expected life of different materials and systems.
- Identify potential site-related challenges and suggest practical solutions.
- Prepare or support the preparation of technical proposals and specifications for customers.
- Coordinate with the design and execution teams to ensure the proposed solution is technically feasible.
- Conduct customer/site meetings and confidently answer technical queries.
- Stay updated on new sports surfaces, construction materials, technologies and industry standards.
Key Skills Required
- Good understanding of sports facility construction.
- Knowledge of badminton, football, basketball, cricket, tennis, pickleball and other sports facilities.
- Understanding of civil works, flooring, turf, drainage and related infrastructure.
- Ability to read and understand basic drawings and layouts.
- Good communication and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, easy-to-understand language.
- Practical approach to space planning and problem solving.
Ideal Candidate
Someone with experience in sports infrastructure, civil construction, sports flooring/turf, architecture, or facility development, who can combine technical knowledge with strong customer communication.
